The Porter Sargent Reference Library includes all past editions of the Handbook Series, and miscellaneous education-related titles from the private collection of Porter Sargent.

Archive copies of listings are available from the following directories:

The Handbook of Private Schools, 1914-current edition (annual);

The Directory for Exceptional Children, 1954-current edition (irregular, mostly trienniel);

The Guide to Summer Camps and Summer Schools, 1924-current edition (irregular, mostly bienniel);

Schools Abroad of Interest to Americans, 1959-current edition (irregular, mostly trienniel).

Copies of archive (not current edition) directory listings are available for $35.00 for the first listing, $15.00 for each additional listing requested at the same time.

If research is required to find the requested information, it will be billed at $35/hour (minimum 1 hour).

All requests must be in writing and must clearly identify the required directory listing(s) by name and directory year.
